All of the fruit for our 2016 Verdelho came from our estate vineyard in Calistoga. On August 24th we hand-harvested the entire crop in the early morning hours under cool conditions to preserve the fresh fruit character. Fermentation and aging was done in stainless steel barrels sur lie with a weekly batonnage to increase weight and texture. The wine was bottled in May 2017.
